'Yesterday, Last Year' unfolds at the Iconic Galaxie Diner, reimagined as a venue renowned for catalyzing profound late-night dialogues. The film interweaves the intimate and emotionally charged conversations of diverse couples and individuals as they navigate love, separation, and personal journeys. Each conversation is intertwined with poignant flashbacks, painting a rich tapestry of human connections. Rooted in the identities we navigate in the world, these stories are deeply personal, drawing inspiration from real relationships and significant moments in the Director/Writer's life. This film is an anthology of Calgary, highlighting what it means to be alive and connected in this city today. 

Brain-wiped & isolated, a man trapped within a futuristic human zoo must relearn what it means to be human, subsequently rediscovering what it means to love. Through a series of artistic challenges imposed by hidden scientists, he not only achieves material success but develops a skewed sense of identity. However, the status quo with which he has become accustomed is disrupted when a human woman is thrown into the mix.
