Join our team for "Yesterday, Last Year," an enthralling production set to unfold in the heart of Calgary, Alberta.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Director, ensuring the seamless execution of their vision.
Create and manage detailed shooting schedules and call sheets.
Calling the role: oversee the cast and crew, maintaining a structured and efficient production environment.
Coordinate with various departments to guarantee the timely completion of all tasks; liase with the crew.
Ensure adherence to production timelines and budgetary constraints.
Manage on-set logistics and maintain a safe working environment.
Responsible for controlling discipline on the set. If someone is not doing their job effectively or there are conflicts on set, it is the first AD’s job to resolve the situation. This may require taking disciplinary action or changing personnel when appropriate.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a 1st Assistant Director in film or television.
Proficient in scheduling software and industry-standard production tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices for on-set safety.
